Job Location/Shift: This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks and will be located at Montauk State Park, 345 County Road 6670, Salem, Missouri 65560. This position will be temporary, extending the length of the recreation season between April and September. Work hours will be primarily 7:30 am – 4:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday, for a total of 20 to 40 hours per week, not to exceed 1,000 hours total during the length of the employment. Work schedule may be negotiable. Hours may vary based on time of year and the needs of the facility.

What you’ll do:

• Daily cleaning of park restrooms and shower houses.
• General grounds maintenance to include mowing and string trimming.
• Assist park staff with recycling program.
• Assist full time maintenance staff with maintenance projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience/Special Job Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, weekends, and night shifts
• Willingness to learn and understand all park operations and provide quality customer service
